Produced using a "Full Moulding" system, the red filter is created from a single mould with no welded joints, reducing the risk of breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems is long-lasting and has excellent adhesion characteristics to fit all shapes of airboxes. The filter is constructed from a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low viscosity oil and covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh for protection against petrol fumes and air humidity oxidation.
